Regular Laughter Yoga Session at Sree Narayana Mission (SNM) Care Centre at Race Course Road

SWA Laughter Yoga Team conducted regular laughter yoga session for about 20 seniors at SNM care centre every Tuesday morning, 10am to 11am. The team is led by Sara Mei Woo, Laughter Yoga Trainer and Ambassador  Fang Feng, Faith Ong and Angela Wong. The programme include the introduction and benefits of Laughter Yoga, Clapping, breathing exercises, Laughter Yoga exercises, singing and dancing.  Physical trial session started in Sep to Oct for two months.

Feedback from some of the participants are as follows:

"I found myself smiling more without knowing and it has become a habit for me to laugh regularly. I think this laughter yoga is very important because people seemed to be moody during the pandemic and now with laughter yoga, everyone seemed to be happier."

"Usually I go for more active programmes like Zumba exercise, but I am actually enjoying this slower pace laughter yoga because she feels happier after attending."

"I am happy to come for laughter yoga as I feel energetic and get to make friends here. I feel better when I come to the centre for laughter yoga. The teachers are good and friendly."
