SWA and Ren Ci Community Hospital Celebrate National Day Together

The party kicked off with a warm welcome speech by Lee Li Hua, President of SWA. Then, everyone sang the National Anthem together. Vanessa Tiara, Miss Singapore Pageant International 2024, led everyone in saying the pledge.

Next up was Laughter Yoga, which got everyone giggling and moving. Fang Fang, Faith, Honey, Linda Lim, Linda Tham, and Betty Ho led the fun session. It was great to see seniors and volunteers having so much fun together.

Music played a big part in the celebration. Carmen sang two beautiful songs: "順流逆流" and "南海姑娘". Then, Seah Chin Aik performed "無言的結局" as a duet with Carmen, and "U Yia Bo, 有影無" in Hokkien. The best part was when everyone sang "Rasa Sayang" together!

Seniors also enjoyed game booths, took fun photos, and cooled off with ice cream. Charlotte, Miss Singapore International 2019, and Fang Fang kept the energy high as MCs throughout the event.

The celebration ended with a screening of NDP 2024 highlights, bringing the National Day spirit to life for everyone. At the end of the day, it was clear that SWA and Ren Ci had given these seniors a wonderful National Day experience. The event showed the true Singapore spirit - caring for each other and celebrating together.
